Trip Advisor lists almost 25,000 restaurants in São Paulo. But what tops that list? An ice cream place!
Bacio Di Latte gets some amazing views, and it’s easy to see why. Not only does the café look the height of cool, but there’s an amazing range of ice creams, and you can watch them make more while you eat.
There’s more than one Bacio Di Latte around São Paulo, but the one we went to was just off Avenue Paulista. It was pouring down with rain, but still warm enough to justify ice cream (just!) – not that the weather would have stopped us anyway.
It’s almost impossible to choose from the variety of flavours. I went for fig, nutella and banana and chocolate. All three were great but the nutella one was my favourite. Vanilla ice cream with soft, creamy nutella running through it – it was as good as spooning nutella out of the jar (if you like nutella you know how good that is!)
Whilst proper Italian ice cream will always win, this place comes a close second.
Where’s the best ice cream you’ve eaten?
