If you’re planning a trip to the Cairngorms, Aviemore is one of the best places to base yourself during your trip. It’s close to some of the best things to do in Cairngorms National Park including Loch Morlick, the Cairngorm Reindeer Center, pubs, restaurants and rental places, and some of the best walks in the Cairngorms such as the hike to Green Loch (An Lochan Uaine).

When we previously visited the Cairngorms National Park we chose to stay in Aviemore most of the time. You have so many options for Aviemore accommodation including lodges and hotels, B&Bs in Aviemore, and more unusual Aviemore places to stay such as treehouses and glamping pods.

At this hotel in Aviemore, you’ll find loads of great facilities including a garden, free parking, a restaurant, and a bar. Breakfast (full Scottish, vegetarian, or gluten-free) is included too.

There are loads of fun outdoor activities to do nearby such as as hiking, skiing, and cycling.

However, the only downside to keep in mind is that if you’re a light sleeper, the rooms are close together, and some noise from the bistro below can be heard.

Cairngorm Hotel
