Van life interior inspiration for your camper van conversion!
Have you ever dreamed of living the van life? Back in 2017 when we sold everything we owned and moved to Canada we did just that! We spent 5 months living out of our self-converted campervan, Elvis. We still have him, and use him on vacations and weekend trips.
I love him but I still end up spending a lot of time looking at other peoples’ van life interiors for inspiration if we decide to do another build one day. There are so many ways of turning a van into a beautiful tiny home as this post shows.
These are some of my favourite van life interiors of late and they just make me dream of doing another road trip like our US one, or even a shorter one such as our Vancouver to Banff & Jasper trip. A
nother epic option would be our South America itinerary by campervan!

One of the best parts of planning your camper van layout is doing the research beforehand and spending time seeing what other people have done with theirs. It’s important to do the research to make sure you end up with something that suits your lifestyle and is comfortable for you.

Besides that, it’s important to determine what you’re going to use your van for. Are you going to be living and working in it full time? If so, a desk may be high on your list of priorities.
Are you going to be spending a lot of time in cities?
You’ll probably need something that looks less like a campervan.
Are you a keen mountain biker, surfer or skier?
You may want to consider how you’ll store bikes. It’s better to store them inside to reduce the risk of theft.
